Our 120 hour TEFL course in Thailand is designed to thoroughly prepare our trainees for the classroom environment. The in-class course includes actual teaching practices at the local Thai schools with real students of different ages.
TEFL certification requires that students complete 120-hours of training and includes at least 6-hours of teaching practice. WECI's TEFL course meets and exceeds these requirements and is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education so we can issue a TEFL certificate that our newly qualified teachers can use all over the world.
We have been providing our in-class 120-hour TEFL courses in Thailand since 2011 and all of our previous trainees now teach English as a foreign language in Thailand and other countries. Many have continued their studies in the field of Education.

Our Excellence Awards
WECI received its first “Excellent Quality Award” in 2009, its second in 2012, and its third award followed in, 2015. However, due to the popularity of teaching abroad, WECI turned its focus to TEFL trainees.
In 2011, WECI TEFL became the beach town’s first and only, TEFL licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education Thailand, school providing a 4-week course of intensive TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) training.
