WECI is a language centre that is situated in beautiful Hua Hin in Thailand. WECI have been offering 120-hour TEFL courses since 2011 and has successfully placed all our newly qualified teachers at schools all over Thailand.

TEFL certification requires that students complete 120-hours of training and includes at least 6-hours of teaching practice.

WECI's TEFL course meets and exceeds these requirements and is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education so we can issue a TEFL certificate that our newly qualified teachers can use all over the world.

 

Language Courses at WECI

 

WECI provides several language courses, which are held at the language centre in Hua Hin. The courses cater for children and adults at all levels. Weci also provides external courses for business and organisations in Hua Hin. This includes, hospitals,  hotels, manufacturing companies and educational organisations.

WECI focuses on the communicative approach to teaching, with an emphasis on listening, speaking and pronunciation. Constant learner participation and small class sizes allow learners plenty of opportunity to speak, with many additional communicative activities such as games, songs, role plays and videos, to reinforce and consolidate learning.

Course with Thai ED Visa

For those who want to stay in Thailand long term, WECI offers Thai and English courses for adults and kids and provide an ED NON O Thai visa. We provide all paperwork for the ED visa, which lasts for up to a year. Please contact us for more information regarding langauge courses with the Thai education ED visa.

WECI received its first “Excellent Quality Award” in 2009, its second in 2012, and its third award followed in, 2015. However, due to the popularity of teaching abroad, WECI turned its focus to TEFL trainees.

In 2011, WECI TEFL became the beach town’s first and only, TEFL licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education Thailand, school providing a 4-week course of intensive TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) training.

    I searched TEFL courses around Thailand and finalised Chiangmai and Huahin. Guess what, I decided to come to Huahin because of the beautiful beach. I contacted to school for accommodation, payment and everything through mail since I had some concerns. Fast response and patiently explained everything. Khun Wanna, the founder of WECI is like our guardian. She’s so kind and thoughtful. Khun Wanna and Mr. Toby helped a lot for my job searching. All the lessons were instructed clearly and practical. Overall, if you love to enjoy one of the beautiful beaches of Thailand and attend TEFL course, come to WECI. The best place so far.

    Not only was the education I received a high quality the teaching opportunities were wide and interesting. The support I received from the school was brilliant, place to live and introduction to Thailand.In top of this Hua Hin is a nice place to start in Thailand before heading off for teaching adventures.
